The key special project Key Atmospheric Processes Affecting Regional Emissions and Sedimentation Responses (No. 2017YFC210100) of the National Key Research and Development Plan Program Study on the Cause of Formation and Control of Atmospheric Pollution has passed comprehensive performance evaluation, the Ministry of Science and Technology has announced. It is the first time the ministry has selected a project led by JNU as the chief scientific unit for the program.
After discussion and inquiry, an expert panel agreed that the project team had fulfilled the required task on schedule, achieved the project goal and met the project evaluation indicator requirements, providing a solid foundation for the special project. The team has made innovative breakthroughs in studying atmospheric wet and dry deposition of air pollutants, producing results that are highly integrated, good in practice and application, with extensive application prospects. The panel unanimously agreed that the project should pass the evaluation.
