A team led by Prof. Guan Quanlong of JNU's College of Information Science and Technology has published a paper in Pattern Recognition (PR) (IF= 7.740), a top journal in SCI (computer science) Quartile 1 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The title is Molecular Substructure Graph Attention Network for Molecular Property Identification in Drug Discovery.
This research targets the frontier of artificial intelligence and pharmacy. The first authors are Prof. Guan and his graduate student Ye Xianbin. The joint authors are Prof. Luo Weiqi and Associate Prof. Fang Liangda, and the corresponding author is Lai Zhaorong, an associate professor of mathematics. JNU is the first corresponding unit.

This research was supported by the General Program and Youth Program of the Natural Science Foundation, the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, the Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation, and the Science and Technology Program of Guangzhou. This research may promote the frontier research and development of artificial intelligence and pharmacy, as well as provide new research ideas for the applications of drug research and development.
