Jinan University started its new semester on Feb 21. To inspect the teaching situation, JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng led teams to visit Shipai Campus that morning, and President Song Xianzhong and Vice President Zhang Ronghua visited Panyu Campus the next day. University officials of Shenzhen and Zhuhai Campuses visited those campuses as scheduled.

Because of the pandemic, some students from overseas or from medium-or high-risk areas of China could not return to school as usual, so JNU has formulated an online + offline teaching plan.

Urging students to prevent infection, school leaders visited some classes. They inspected the curriculum arrangement, attendance and class status of the first class of the new semester and focused on examining teaching equipment and public service facilities. They found that teachers reported for class on schedule in good spirits; the classroom atmosphere was lively on each campus; students actively interacted with teachers; attendance was good, and teaching proceeded in an orderly manner.
