A paper titled Reversible Data Hiding by Using CNN Prediction and Adaptive Embedding, by Prof. Xiang Shijun and his team from the Department of Electronic Engineering in JNU's College of Information Science and Technology/College of Cyber Security, has been published by IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (IEEE TPAMI), a top international academic journal. Runwen Hu, the first author, is a bachelor-straight-to-doctorate student in the department, concentrating on cyberspace security. The corresponding author is Xiang Shijun, master supervisor in information and communication engineering and a doctoral supervisor in cyberspace security.

IEEE TPAMI is the top journal in computer vision and pattern recognition, with an impact factor of 16.389 for 2020-2021, ranking first among all JCR international journals in computer science and artificial intelligence. 

This research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Surface Project and the Guangdong Science and Technology Innovation Strategy Special Funds.
