The 16th season finals of the Win in Innovation competition, hosted by JNU's Academic Affairs Office, was held on Shipai campus on Dec. 2, with 10 teams standing out. The event was conducted online and off, with the audience watching via webcast.
Special prizes were given to the projects Optical Capacity: Green Solvent Printing Organic Solar Cell by Zuo Qiong's team from the College of Science and Engineering and of Fuyou Hertz: A Public Welfare Platform for Customized Audio Books by Shen Xin's team from the School of Journalism and Communication. First prizes went to Real-Time Network Gate Based on Image Recognition and its Application in Key Generation” by Hu Haolong's team from the College of Cyberspace Security, “Display and Communication Make a Difference:Dual-Use Display and Communication System Based on LED Display Screen and Camera” by Li Jingwen’s team from the College of Science and Engineering, and “Zinc's Big Power: Defects in Embryonic Neural Tube Development Caused by Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles” by Luo Xin's team from School of Medicine.

Launched in 2013, Win in Innovation has become a unique brand of education in mass entrepreneurship and innovation at JNU. In 16 seasons, it has held 76 competitions involving nearly 700 projects and more than 13,000 participants. To date, more than 100 papers created for the contest have been indexed by SCI/EI, and its entries have won over 30 competition awards at the provincial or higher levels, including the National Innovation Annual Conference for College Students and the Challenge Cup.
