Song said the job fair was a public welfare platform built by the government to provide college students with free one-stop services for hiring, employment counseling and career planning. Attracting many well-known companies in the Greater Bay Area, he said, it will lead to many high-quality jobs and internships for college students in the Greater Bay Area, which is of great significance in promoting employment and entrepreneurship among them.
The job fair, guided by the State Council's Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, was hosted by the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong, the Guangdong Human Resources and Social Security Department, the Zhuhai Municipal Government and the Talents Development Committee of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
The fair will be held online and off to fully connect the city clusters in the Greater Bay Area and launch a series of theme activities, including the opening ceremony, high-level forums, talent recruitment, exhibitions, and employment and internships. As of Dec. 4, the fair had attracted over 100 universities and more than 20,000 enterprises recruiting graduates for nearly 100,000 jobs.
