A JNU team, the only one composed of college students, won first place in the second round and Most Creative award in the 2021 International Safe Transit Association's transportation packaging design competition in Hangzhou in September.

Sponsored by College of Packaging and instructed by a research fellow and an associate professor, the team consisted of five sophomores specializing in packaging engineering.

The college is committed to building a multi-level undergraduate practical teaching system，including constructing an industry-university-research collaboration platform; encouraging undergraduates to take part in professional competitions; and enhancing undergraduates’ practical and creative abilities to tackle complex engineering problems.
