The Stomatology Hospital Affiliated to Jinan University invited JNU's retired teachers to visit its dental clinic in Foshan's Shunde district and taste Shunde special dishes on Oct. 22 to send them Double Ninth Festival wishes and sincere thanks for their hard work. More than 20 retired faculty members attended, including Huang Yue, executive dean of the School of Stomatology; Wang Hailan, deputy secretary of General Party Branch and chairman of Trade Unions; Yuan Qiongzhang and Li Hui, secretaries of the hospital's Party Committee of Affiliated Stomatology Hospital; and Shen Shan and Gao Ming, deputy deans of the Stomatology Hospitaly.

The group first visited the dental clinic, guided by Guo Guansheng, director of the department of stomatology. Prof. Wu Tingxiong, 90, covered the whole visit without missing a single department in the hospital, supported by Cai Guopan, a newly retired teacher. During the visit, many current directors and medical experts were thrilled to hug and talk with their gray-haired teachers and predecessors, whom they had not seen for many years. 

Afterward, Huang talked freely with the leading group of the Stomatology Hospital and retired teachers about past events at JNU. Huang expressed his heartfelt thanks to the retired teachers for their hard work and great contributions to the School of Stomatology's teaching and research. He said its Party Committee would increase support for retirement work and provide good services for the former teachers. He also wished them good health and happiness. Li described the basic situation and development goals of hospital construction, talent training, expert team-building and key specialty construction.
