The 17th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) was held at the Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel on Sept. 17. Co-hosted by JNU and the Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation, it was organized by JNU's Law School and Intellectual Property School. More than 120 people, including administrators from the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and provincial government, industry experts and business representatives exchanged opinions on frontiers and hot issues related to competition policy and SME development.
Zhou Zhigao, deputy director of SAMR's Anti-Monopoly Bureau, spoke on China's achievements in enforcement of competition law, implementation of fair competition, and strengthening international cooperation in related fields. He elaborated on the priority for China's competition law in the near future.
During the seminar and roundtable, leaders from national and provincial market regulatory departments, experts from the State Council's Anti-Monopoly Committee, and practical experts from enterprises and legal associations conducted extensive discussions on the conference theme.
