JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng and President Song Xianzhong paid tribute to former leaders and representatives of high-level talents, sending them and other faculty members wishes and greetings before Teachers' Day.

Lin and Song visited former JNU Party Secretaries Zhang Dechang, Wu Guoji and  Jiang Shuzhuo;  former Presidents Zhou Yaoming, Liu Renhuai and Hu Jun; and former Vice President Rao Pengziand other past university leaders on Sept. 8, informing them of JNU's recent achievements and thanking them for their outstanding contributions to the university's construction and development.

That day they also led a delegation to visit representatives of high-level talents on the Panyu and Shipai campuses.

During the visit, the university leaders wished professors a happy Teachers' Day and congratulated them on their achievements in talent-training and scientific research. The leaders also encouraged them to make further efforts to strengthen the training of young talents, focus on the industrialization of research results, and contribute to the development of the university and social progress.
