Prof. Tao Wu's team in JNU's College of Chemistry and Materials Science has reported progress in the synthetic and functional exploration of the metal-chalcogenide nanoclusters, publishing its findings in Nature Communications with JNU as the first completion unit.

Tao, a newly introduced young talent in the college, has long focused on basic and applied research in metal-chalcogenide nanoclusters. Since he returned to China from the United States in 2012, he has published more than 70 papers as independent corresponding or first corresponding author in journals including Acc. Chem. Res.(1), Nat. Sci. Rev.(1), J. Am. Chem. Soc.(6), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.(3), Nat. Comm.(1), CCS Chem. (1), and CCS Chem.(1), Chem. Sci.(1).
