Jinan University held the first conference of the Intellectual Property Management and Technology Transfer Advisory Committee on May 31, attended by committee members and representatives of the university's Department of Science and Technology. 

It is the committee's first conference since it was reorganized from the Technology Transfer Advisory Committee. The conference announccd the Notice of Jinan University on the Reorganization of the Establishment of the Intellectual Property Management and Technology Transfer Advisory Committee, adopted its rules and discussed technology transfer issues in the key disciplines of biomedicine and optoelectronics at the university. It focused on the university's intellectual property management and the pilot project for granting scientific researchers ownership or long-term use right of their scientific and technological achievements. Participants reached  consensus on further optimizing the implementation process of the university's technology shares and the empowerment of scientific and technological achievements.
