The ninth ACM Programming Contest of Jinan University,hosted by the College of Information Science and Technology's Department of Computer Science, was held in the Panyu campus laboratory building on May 9. The competition attracted students interested in computer programming from all majors. More than 80 students in over 30 teams participated, most of them from the College of Information Science and Technology, the College of Cyber Security, the College of Science and Technology, International school and the Law School on three campuses.
Under ACM international contest rules,participants are free to form teams of up to three students. Participants are required to finish 12 tasks within five hours.

The ACM contest improved their programming and analytical ability, as well as coordination and teamwork spirit, and gave them a deeper understanding of programming.
