Prof. Tang Qunwei's team in JNU's College of Information Science and Technology published a paper titled Nodding Duck Structure Multi-Track Directional Freestanding Triboelectric Nanogenerator Toward Low-Frequency Ocean Wave Energy Harvesting in ACS Nano (IF=14.588) in May. JNU is the paper's sole completing unit. Liu Liqiang, a doctoral researcher in its Institute of New Energy, is the first author, and Tang and Associate Prof. Yang Xiya are the corresponding authors.
(The research published by ACS Nano)
The project is sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Foundation for Basic and Applied Basic Research, Basic Scientific Research Projects of Central Universities and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
In recent years, Tang and Yang have devoted themselves to the research and development of low-frequency mechanical energy conversion materials and devices such as human kinetic energy and wave energy around such key issues as high-performance electret preparation, mixed-effect energy collection, and friction charge density improvement. They have achieved a series of innovative research results.
