Two JNU projects won prizes in the Looking at China Youth Film Project , awarded in Beijing on April 23. Among the over 100 works in the competition, Fight, directed by Salma from Pakistan and produced by Ou Shucen, won first prize, and Dear Aziz, directed by Nasser from Niger and produced by Chen Jianwei, won the award for best artistic expression. JNU won the Best Organization Award.

The program, launched in November, invited JNU international students from seven countries, including Pakistan, Canada and Thailand, to participate in the competition and work with Chinese students to film short documentaries in Guangzhou, Meizhou and other cities. These films reflect how foreigners view Chinese people, events and society in the context of poverty alleviation, the realization of a moderately prosperous society in an all-around way, and the fight against COVID-19.
