The I'm the Reporter team from JNU's School of Journalism and Communication, led by Chen Zhe, associate professor and master's degree supervisor, and five graduate students, set off from Guangzhou on a 15-day trip to Chishui City, Guizhou Province, on April 1 to shoot a documentary on rural revitalization on the theme of “Entering Chishui.”

During the visit, the team divided into two groups to visit several villages and towns, focusing on the development of rural industries in Darong Village, Kaixuan Village and Liming Village in Lianghekou Town. They also visited outstanding youth representatives from Minzu Village and Fuxing Town in Datong Town and conducted in-depth communication with many village secretaries on the front line of rural revitalization to understand local development characteristics and industries. They recorded the economic development and affluent life of ordinary people in villages.
