The Winning in Innovation 2021 Competition took place at JNU on April 22. Of the seven competing teams, one was named Best Project, one Most Popular Project and two Excellent Projects.

The Best Project winner, Performance of Large-Area Organic Solar Cells With Green Solvent Blade Coating, aims to innovate the materials and preparation of solar cells. The cells developed by the project record a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 17.01%, and the project has been accredited by the Guangdong Institute of Measurement.
JNU Environmental Protection, named Most Popular for its practicality and innovative technology, brings great news to wastewater treatment manufacturers plagued by technological monopoly. It has applied for six patents, including two invention patents and one utility model patent, and published three SCI Zone one papers, according to Li Quan, the project's leader.
