Two JNU's students, Alia Yerkenhaz and Huang Shukun, won first prize and the Finalist Award, respectively, in the seventh National Short Video Thematical Collection on the theme of Financial Aid to Students to Build Their Dreams. The collection, along with the 2020 Provide Job Opportunities to Targeted Students campaign, was jointly hosted by the Youth Development Department of Communist Youth League's Central Committee, the Ministry of Education's National Center for Student Assistance Administration, Bank of China and China Youth Daily.

JNU's Center for Student Financial Aid also collected works related to the theme. With the slogan Youth Unite to Fight Poverty, the activity attracted many students and teachers to participate. Among the 86 entries, 34 were honored as excellent works, including short videos, written works and pictures. JNU has offered the shortlisted works professional advice on revision and supported them in participating in national competition.

In recent years, the center has vigorously implemented student financial aid policy and dedicated itself to the fundamental task of moral education. It has also done a solid and effective job in student financial assistance by comprehensively promoting targeted funding support to students with financial difficulties, allowing them to realize their dreams, better serve the country and shoulder social responsibility in the new era.
