The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Taiwan Youth Job Fair, hosted by the Guangzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, was held at Jinan University on April 4. The fair attracted nearly 100 enterprises recruiting graduates for 3,000 jobs. They included noted enterprises and institutions in the pharmaceutical, finance, insurance, IT and media industries.

Peng Gang, deputy director of the graduate career department in the South China Market of Human Resources, said all the jobs at the fair were available to encourage and support the students in displaying their talents and pursuing their dreams, and to help them join in the construction and development of the Greater Bay Area.

Yangcheng Evening News Group also participated and expected to recruit 31 graduates to fill in editing, market planning and operations management. High professional competence aside, we put more emphasis on our employees' comprehensive competence, a Yangcheng Evening News staff member said. Our newspaper is in transition to media convergence, so we hope to have versatile talents in every position. The staff member also suggested that students seeking jobs should consider their career planning for the future five years in addition to major and salary.
