Jinan University's new semester started as scheduled on March 1. Because of the pandemic, some students from overseas or medium- or high-risk areas of China could not return to school as usual. According to the instructions and requirements of the Ministry of Education, the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and Guangdong Department of Education, JNU has formulated three teaching plans: offline, online and blended.
To inspect the teaching situation, school leaders including JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng visited the Shipai Campus, while President Song Xianzhong and Vice President Zhang Ronghua visited the Panyu Campus. They examined teaching equipment, public service facilities and classroom disinfection. They also visited some classes to better understand teaching conditions such as course arrangement, teachers' and students' attendance, and their morale.

Adhering to the student-oriented approach and strengthened cooperation, all departments and colleges were required to prepare all teaching works well for this semester under the epidemic prevention and control to improve the school's undergraduate education and the quality of talent training.
