The JNU Press project titled TCM Inheritance Diagram Book Series (The First Series) has won funding from the National Publication Foundation, which announced its evaluation results on Feb. 1. Sixteen projects from Guangdong are among the 405 selected by the foundation from more than 1,500 submitted by over 500 publishers this year.
The book series, published under the general editorship of Prof. Cao Hui with the College of Pharmacy’s Lingnan Traditional Chinese Medicine Research Center, has been listed as a project of the national key publications of the 13th Five-Year Plan. It is a featured selection of the JNU Press guided by President Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism With Chinese Characteristics in the New Era. It is based on the development of Chinese medicine and inheritance of classic Chinese traditional culture, serving JNU's construction as a double first-class and high-level university.
The series selects more than 1,000 from rare ancient Chinese medicine collections at home and abroad. It summarizes and analyzes, systematically and scientifically, the records of ancient and modern Chinese medicine classics, offering a full view of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to broaden the channel of international exchanges of TCM culture, and to promote creative inheritance and development of TCM culture and traditional Chinese culture.
