Guo Yun, a teacher in JNU's College of Foreign Studies, served as a Chinese-English interpreter at the Global Study of Origins of SARS-CoV-2, convened by the World Health Organization in Wuhan in January and February.

Appointed by the International Department of the National Health Commission, Guo undertook simultaneous interpretation and consecutive interpretation for many conferences and was responsible for Chinese-English translation at the W.H.O.-China Joint Study Press Conference on Feb. 9.
