Prof. Zheng Xianchuang of JNU's Institute of Nanophotonics has published the results of research in collaboration with Nanjing University in Nano Letters, a publication of the America Chemical Society. This paper, titled Tumor Microenvironment-Regulated and Reported Nanoparticles for Overcoming the Self-Confinement of Multiple Photodynamic Therapy, represents a big leap in its field. It demonstrates that the self-confinement of multiple photodynamic therapy can be overcome via the synergistic impacts of microenvironment regulation and in-situ oxygen supply to improve tumor hypoxia.
