Two vice presidents of Wuhan University of Engineering Science (WUES) -- Gao Yun, secretary of party committee, and Guo Lin, its vice secretary -- visited Jinan University for research and communication on Dec. 15. Sun Yu, deputy secretary of JNU's party committee, attended the meeting.

Sun expressed his warm welcome and gave a detailed introduction to JNU's history, talent-training characteristics, achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship, and plans for development. 

Reviewing a series of joint activities by the two universities in the last six months, Gao expressed her gratitude for JNU's contribution to the One-Help-One Action Regarding Employment and Entrepreneurship. She presented brocade and customized souvenirs to JNU on behalf of WUES.  

The two sides have conducted in-depth exchanges around the One-Help-One Action, as well as internationalization and student work. After the meeting, the visitors went to JNU's Student Employment Guidance Center, Mental Health Education Center and University History Museum.

This visit strengthened exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in internationalization, integration of disciplines and specialties, construction of teaching staff, and student work. Enhanced their contact and friendship, it helped establish a multi-level and normal cooperation mechanism. JNU will continue to implement the Ministry of Education's instructions on the One-Help-One Action and work with WUES to promote high-quality employment and entrepreneurship of their graduates.
