JNU signed a Cooperation Framework Agreement with the Shenzhen Qianhai Administrative Bureau at the Qianhai Deep Harbor Cooperation Area in Shenzhen on Nov. 28. The two sides have decided to cooperate comprehensively and strategically, reaching agreement on facilitating internships, entrepreneurship, cultural exchanges and educational research programs for youths from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The four aspects of cooperation have been the spirit of four platforms to accomplish the goals.
Giving inaugural addresses were Huang Min, a member of the Shenzhen Municipal Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China and of Party Officials, as well as the Party's Central Committee Secretary of the Qianhai Deep Harbor Cooperation Area, and JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng.

Huang said the Qianhai Deep Harbor Cooperation Area would work with JNU to realize 15 projects in those four platforms though the working methods of clear accounting records, specified projects, digitalized data and responsibility clarity.” The cooperation will offer youths internship and entrepreneurship opportunites at Qianhai, Huang said, and Qianhai will be their first life and career choice. At the same time, he said, the Qianhai Deep Harbor Cooperation Area will be the vanguard of Hong Kong serving the Chinese mainland for further development.
Lin said JNU and Shenzhen Qianhai would actively explore new modes and opportunities for deeper cooperation between scientific research and regional development. They will also seek fresh impetus for development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area by promoting the four platforms and carrying out in-depth strategic cooperation in personnel management, scientific and technological innovation, and scientific research.

Before the signing ceremony, JNU leaders, including Lin and President Song Xianzhong, conducted research at places like the Jiali Center in Shenzhen, the China Media Group center in the Greater Bay Area and the special zone of Vanke enterprise mansions. They also exchanged opinions with leaders of relevant units on how to better promote students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in starting their own businesses in Qianhai.
