TThe launch ceremony of the Xingmiao Project of medical training for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese students in JNU's School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was held in the medical building on Nov. 8.

Zhang Zhi, director of the JNU Party Committee's student affairs office, pointed out that the school had cultivated many talents in the last two decades. He said he earnestly hoped the first students trained in the project would cherish the opportunity and be self-disciplined, cooperative and hard-working.
Cai Lin, secretary of the school's Party Committee, said the project had been planned in accordance with the requirements of the ability improvement plan made for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese students. It also takes into account the school's actual situation and the students' characteristics. The project will strengthen their professional knowledge and skills, as well as promoting their work through a series of activities.
Speaking on behalf of freshmen in the school, Wei Ziru, a Hong Kong student, expressed her gratitude to JNU, the school, mentors and the project staff. She also talked about her intention to learn Chinese medicine and participate in the medical project. We will definitely participate in this program with great enthusiasm and spare no efforts in completing this practice, she pledged.
