Eight JNU projects are on the 2020 list of projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, including management, Marxism-Leninism and social science, and journalism and communication.
Four projects originated in the School of Literature, two in the Social Science Department in School of Marxism, and one each in the School of Journalism and Communication and the School of Management.
The fund supports projects in their later stages mainly for outstanding philosophical and social scientific research that are more than 80 percent complete but unpublished. Among them are many academic books and a small proportion of collections of valuable academic materials, as well as reference books with high academic value.
JNU's project approving rate has exceeded 40% for three consecutive years.
