JNU has been one of the first universities in China to explore the joint construction of laboratories with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The JNU-CUHK Joint Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine, with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, was first approved by the Ministry of Education in 2007, creating a new mode of scientific and technological exchange and cooperation between universities in Guangdong and Hong Kong.
In June JNU signed a contract with Guangzhou Lixin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., to transfer the exclusive development rights to JND32066, a class 1 innovative anti-tumor drug, in the global market for 100 million yuan. The two sides had jointly built a new technology platform for the research and development of new tumor immune drugs through the joint construction of a drug research and development laboratory.
