JNU has been listed in the second batch of universities carrying out the one-to-one assistance program, pairing up with Wuhan University of Engineering Science in accordance with the notice of the general office of the Ministry of Education. The program is being implemented to promote employment and entrepreneurship for graduates of colleges and universities across Hubei Province and all of China.
The two universities held the signing ceremony online on May 29. Sun Yu, deputy secretary of the JNU Party Committee, and Guo Lin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of Wuhan University of Engineering Science, attended and signed an agreement.
The first JNU-Wuhan University of Engineering Science joint online job fair, a special session supported by Shenzhen alumni, was held on May 21. With the support of JNU's Shenzhen Alumni Association, 56 employers, including Shenzhen alumni's enterprises, signed up. According to statistics, a total of 241 jobs have been provided; 3,097 employees are needed; 1,127 graduates participated in the job fair; 970 submitted resumes; and the job fair's website received 8,518 page views.

Guo said he wished to achieve a win-win for the two universities in six aspects by virtue of JNU’s distinctive characteristics and employment advantages. They include making a joint effort to share information about job postings; increasing channels and strengthening guidance for employment; carrying out entrepreneurial practice activities; and improving the management of graduate employment.
The two universities hosted three job fairs, on June 5, 8 and 11, in cooperation with the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, and peer colleges. At the same time, JNU has made such resources as its graduate employment website, graduate employment WeChat official account, employment and entrepreneurship online courses, and weekly shared employment information available to graduates of Wuhan University of Engineering Science. The two universities are jointly carrying out special activities such as employability diagnosis and employment guidance, online resume diagnosis and modification, and a practical training camp for interviews.
