JNU Vice President Zhang Hong visited the Zhuhai campus's School of Humanities, School of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering, School of Packaging Engineering and Institute of New Energy Technology on May 8, accompanied by relevant leaders and faculty members.
 

(The inspection)
Zhang listened carefully to campus party leaders' reports on the JNU Party Committee's work, discipline construction, faculty recruitment, high-level university construction and personnel training problems.
Zhang praised former leaders for their dedication and achievements, and put forward several requirements for the new leadership. He stressed that they should first take every task into consideration and create a transparent and motivating political environment; continue to strengthen communication; use external resources to win the support of Zhuhai's government and society; and act to meet China's strategic needs, focusing on the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the development of local economy and society, and the construction of a world-class university with first-class disciplines.
Afterward, Zhang visited students in Zhuhai dormitories and encouraged them to keep a positive attitude and live as normally as possible during the pandemic while communicating with the university anytime they are in need.
