JNU and Jinan Journal (Philosophy & Social Science Edition) have raised their rankings this year in publications on the humanities and social sciences.
The rankings came at a seminar on March 29on the publication and evaluation of humanities and sciences developments at Renmin University of China in Beijing, focusing on academic evaluation and disciplinary development. The seminar issued A Research Report on the Ranking of the Press Reshipping Index（2018） and  A List of Important Source Agencies of Most Frequently Reshipped Academic Materials（2018）.

JNU ranked 27th, among institutions of higher learning, with 75 theses reposted, and 23rd the in aggregate index.
In the subdiscipline rankings of universities, economics at JNU ranks 14th in both reposting volume and the aggregate index. Applied economics, with 19 papers reposted, ranks 13th in reposting volume and 11th in the aggregate index. With 10 papers reposted, Chinese language and literature ranks 18th and 15th, respectively, and business administration 10th and 12th, respectively, with 11 papers reposted.
In the subdiscipline ranking of universities within their affiliated institutions (for JNU, the Ministry of Education), the School of Journalism and Communication and School of Management rank 8th and 10th respectively in reposting volume.
In the comprehensive ranking of journals, Jinan Journal ranks 45th in reposting volume, 67th in reposting ratio and 54th in the aggregate index. In the journal ranking of universities, Jinan Journal ranks 19th, 33rd and 23rd in the three aspects, respectively.
