Six JNU professors have been included in 2018 Chinese Most Cited Researchers List published by Elsevier on Jan. 17. 

The list includes 1,899 scholars from 229 colleges, scientific research institute and enterprises. It recognizes Chinese scholars with world influence in 38 subject categories.

Research data for the list comes from Scopus, a database for peer-reviewed academic papers with extensive coverage and detailed content. It is part of Elsevier, one of the world's largest publishers of scientific literature.

Scholars on the list have great influence in their research fields, and their scientific achievements have made significant contributions to development in their fields.
