Having finished the medical treatment mission, 65 members of the third prevention and control team from the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University safely returned to Guangzhou from Hubei on April 10. JNU Vice President Ye Wencai; Xu Anding, president of the First Affiliated Hospital, and Bi Sicheng, secretary of the party committee, welcomed them at the airport.

For its two weeks treating and curing patients in Central South Hospital, the team, which had left Guangdong on Feb. 21, received the high grade of double zero -- zero patient deaths patients and zero infection of medical workers in the ward.
The nursing care group of the medical team led by Huang Jiewei, director of nursing department, completed The Nursing Service Measures in Isolation Wards of the 22nd Guangdong Medical Team, which provided better nursing services for patients in wards and was highly recognized by Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University.
As a part of the 22nd Guangdong medical team, JNU's third medical team supporting Hubei set out for Wuhan Leishenshan (Thunder God Mountain) Hospital on March 12, where it took over an intensive-care ward. The team did not return with the Front-Line Headquarters of Guangdong until it had completed its mission.

During the fight against the novel coronavirus, 89 JNU medical staff members rushed to help Hubei province. Previously 24 members of the first and second medical teams had safely returned to school.
