The Academy Awards of the Advertising Festival of Chinese College Students, often called the AD Campus Awards, unveiled the autumn 2019 winners' list on the official website on March 2. Under the instruction of Prof. Yang Xianshun, JNU postgraduates Liu Min, Huang Ruiwen and Qin Meng from the School of Journalism and Communication won the top award for their short video Buzzwords of Post-Millennials.
The video, one of 208,179 entries and 18 Gold Award winners nominated for the top award, was honored for its originality and deep insight. Because of the Covid-19 outbreak, the awards ceremony will be postponed.

The Academy Awards, which is approved by the central government and authorized by the State Council, represents a grand award in China's advertising industry. This is the only national advertising event for college students approved by China's State Administration for Industry and Commerce and hosted by the China Advertising Association. The festival includes academic discussions, design competitions and talent exchanges. Making full use of extensive resources and building a first-class platform to cultivate fresh ideas, the AD Campus Awards have acquired a high reputation and widely influenced the advertising industry and academia.
