Cultural heritage is a precious treasure left by history and a unique bridge of communication between human beings. In recent years, how to better pass on and activate the historical wealth of cultural heritage from generation to generation has been a  common concern of mankind.

The Belt and Road International Forum for Cultural Heritage Cooperation and Exchange 2019, held in Jiangmen on Nov. 14 and 15, is an integral part of efforts to promote the Belt and Road initiative and build cultural circles in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. On Dec. 3, Guo Dan, the host of the CRI Interview, invited Prof. Chen Ping, vice chairman of the International Organization of Folk Art, and the dean of JNU's Research Academy on Cultural Heritage and Creative Industry, to demonstrate Jiangmen's cultural heritage and overseas Chinese culture, two unique characteristics of the city, and discuss the cultural heritage and creative industry in the Greater Bay Area.
