JNU's College of Life Science and Technology held the fourth Proteomics Symposium on Inflammation and Cancer on Nov. 23. Based on the topic of precision medicine in tumor, cancer and inflammation treatment, it attracted over 400 experts and students for in-depth discussions on tumor metabolism, drug development, and the development and application of techniques in proteomics, the large-scale study of proteins.
Not only were the latest developments and application of proteomics in cancer research discussed, but trends in tumor biology and research and development of anti-cancer drugs were also emphasized. This symposium was of great significance in promoting academic exchanges among leading researchers, interdisciplinary development and cooperation. Experts said they thought highly of this symposium, which provided a platform for them to exchange ideas. They also praised JNU for its progress in developing kernel technology in proteomics and applying technologies in cancer studies and anti-cancer drugs.
