JNU President Song Xianzhong met with Korean Consul General Hong Xingxu and his team on Oct. 12.

Song introduced JNU's development history and its achievements in recent years and reviewed the harmonious cooperation with Korean universities in the last few decades. He expressed his hope of strengthening exchange and cooperation between JNU and the consulate, as well as Korean universities, particularly in such fields as East Asian studies and Chinese language education, to promote the development of the relationship between China and Korea.
