JNU researcher Lan Yu, along with Liu Bing, JNU chair professor and researcher at the Fifth Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital, and Hu Hongbo, a researcher at Sichuan University, have made an essential breakthrough in immunocyte ontogeny. On Oct. 8, their joint research results were published in Immunity (Biological Area 1, IF=21.52) as an online paper titled Single-Cell RNA Sequencing Resolves Spatiotemporal Development of Pre-Thymic Lymphoid Progenitors and Thymus Organogenesis in Human Embryos.
 

 
The research is jointly supported by the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Pearl River Talent Program of Guangdong.
