Prof. Mai Yaohua's team from the Institute of New Energy Technology has continued to make breakthroughs in the massive development of Sn-Pb mixed perovskites, realizing the technique development of high-quality Sn-Pb mixed perovskite films by blade coating. Perovskite are mineral compounds used in solar cells.

This work was the first about scalable coating of low-bandgap Sn-pb mixed perovskite, which is of great significance in developing large area components and promote the industrial production of perovskite. The work has been published in Nano Energy (IF=15.55) with the title 2d-3d heterostructure scalable coating of efficient low-bandgap Sn -- Pb mixed perovskite solar cells. This paper was published with Jinan University as its first corresponding unit, and Mai and researcher Guo Fei as its co-corresponding authors.
