JNU's Network and Education Technology Center and Navicat (China) signed Nacicat Academic Partner Program (NAPP) on July 11. Zhang Huanming, head of the center, and Lian Huaying, co-founder of Navicat and software development director of PremiumSoft, signed the contract.

“Navicat is a popular database management software with rich functions,” Zhang said. “Through providing free and authorized Navicat software for JNU teachers and students, NAPP will not only help teachers and students in teaching and scientific research, but also promote the management of JNU information construction.”

As the first university to sign with the company, JNU is a model in spearheading the use of genuine Navicat software among institutions of higher education in South China. Lian described NAPP's historical development and the software's functions and features. On behalf of the company, he said he expected the cooperation to boost information construction at JNU and looked forward to future cooperation. After the signing ceremony, the official Navicat software became available to students and faculty members who apply for authorization at https://netc.jnu.edu.cn/2019/0621/c83a348943/page.htm using official JNU email.
