To deepen collaboration among enterprises, universities and research institutes, a JNU delegation led by Vice President Hong An visited Nanjing Sunflare New Energy Co., Ltd., on April 13. Researchers from the JNU and Sunflare's new joint solar energy technology institute, including Chen Zhenqiang, dean of the College of Science of Engineering; General Secretary Zhang Guolin, and Vice Dean Liu Pengyi attended. Nanjing Sunflare CEO Philip Gao gave a detailed introduction to the techniques, properties, application and marketing of the flexible CIGS thin-film solar cells during a walking tour of the assembly line.

At the meeting, Gao said the two sides had developed their collaboration a year ago based on the shared concept of green development and scientific research and innovation goals. The company will continuously strengthen its cooperative research, he said.
Hong said the cooperation between Sunflare and the College of Science and Engineering was significant for JNU in the construction of a double first-class university and high-level university and has bright prospects.
