The swearing-in ceremony of the Jinan University sports delegation to the 10th University Games of Guangdong Province was held on April 19. JNU sent about 300 people to the games, with 236 athletes competing in 10 sports.

JNU Party Secretary Lin Rupeng presented a flag to the sports delegation. In his speech, he highly affirmed the College of Physical Education's achievements in discipline construction, teacher team construction, group competition and other aspects in the last four years. He put forward three requirements for the JNU sports delegation: to raise awareness, unify thoughts, and strengthen the sense of responsibility and urgency; to implement the delegation's organization, planning, responsibility and security; and to strengthen overall planning and close cooperation in creating conditions for preparing the games themselves.

The College of Physical Education will intensify the consciousness of Polishing the Golden Brand  by showing students' physical education level and physical and spiritual level, to further enhance JNU's influence. In May, the University Games of Guangdong Province, held every four years and sponsored by the Guangdong Department of Education and Sports Bureau, will be held at many universities in Guangdong.
