Representatives of Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macao recently signed the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Health Cooperation Consensus at the second Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Health Cooperation Conference. At the conference, sixty-two cooperation project proposals were signed, involving disease research, infectious disease prevention and control, talents training, and development of high-level international hospitals. JNU's Nursing School participated in two projects: Nursing Research and Knowledge Transfer Alliance and Industry-University-Research Cooperation Platform for Intelligent Nursing in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Area. Both projects are on the list of 12 representative projects among the 62.

Chen Weiju, party branch secretary of the Nursing School and president of the Guangdong Nurses Association and initiator of the Intelligent Nursing project, presented relevant documents onstage. She is also group leader of the continuity of care research group of the Nursing Research and Knowledge Transfer Alliance.
The alliance is jointly organized by Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Jinan University, Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou Medical University, Southern Medical University, Macao Polytechnic Institute, the First People's Hospital of Foshan, People's Hospital of Shenzhen Nanshan District and Zunyi Medical University (Zhuhai Campus). It combines the strengths and resources of the universities and the clinical hospitals, establishing stable long-term nursing research partnerships among its members. It has set up five nursing research groups: rapid rehabilitation and hospice care; pre-intervention and combination of medical and health care; continuity of care; psychosocial health; and maternal and child health.
