Prof. Larry Linamen, vice president of California Baptist University, and Prof. Zheng Shasha, head of its nutrition program, visited JNU on March 13. Vice President Zhang Hong welcomed them.
Zhang introduced JNU's history and development and its international exchange programs. Linamen introduced the basic background of California Baptist University and its mode of cooperation and exchange with Chinese universities. The two sides exchanged opinions on joint international courses, student exchanges, short-term study tours and faculty visits. They signed a memorandum of understanding.

Founded in 1950, California Baptist University offers 150 majors and more than 40 master's post-graduate certificate programs, with more than 9,000 students. It first sent delegates to visit JNU in 2016, and the recently signed memorandum of understanding is intended to further their cooperation.
