We are especially encouraged by the publication of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, he said. Jinan University has been committed to cultivating high-quality talents for Hong Kong and Macao for a long time, and having trained more than 80,000 talents of various types, it gives full play to the important role of Hong Kong and Macau's talent pool.
In the next three years, we will actively integrate into the construction of the Greater Bay Area and make full use of our traditional advantage to increase the proportion of students from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and overseas from the current 33% to 40%. We will also further improve our personnel training quality by taking measures such as optimizing the curriculum system, improving teaching materials and the quality of teachers, carrying out the special training planning, etc. We aim to create a high-quality talent pool in the Greater Bay Area by providing strong support for its construction in terms of innovation motivation, talent reserve, technical support, teacher and student services, etc.
