The Tokyo Greater Bay Area is one of the most successful bay areas in the world, and its development is inseparable from the support of universities such as the University of Tokyo, Song said. JNU should learn from the construction experience of the Tokyo Greater Bay Area and the role universities play in its development.
The two sides agreed to work hard to build a platform for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area's strategic research to promote joint academic seminars between China and Japan. They also agreed to jointly sponsor the China-Japan Bay Area Forum at an appropriate time to discuss the construction of the Greater Bay Area as the core of joint research in culture, education, international relations and economy.
