A team researching nano-drugs targeting tumors, headed by Prof. Chen Tianfeng of JNU's College of Chemistry and Materials Science has published two research articles in the International Journals of Materials Science. The team's research used the biochemical characteristics of tumors to design a tumor-targeted biological response nano-drug that successfully realized the multi-modal precise treatment of synchronous radiotherapy, chemotherapy and photothermal therapy.
One paper, Sequentially Triggered Delivery System of Black Phosphorus Quantum Dots With Surface Charge-Switching Ability for Precise Tumor Radiosensitization, was published on Nov. 8 in ACS Nano (IF13.709). The other, Cancer Therapy: Photothermal‐Controlled Nanotubes With Surface Charge Flipping Ability for Precise Synergistic Therapy of Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer, was the cover paper on Nov. 5 in Advanced Functional Materials (IF13.325). To date, this team has published more than 200 research articles in Angewandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Nano and other international journals, of which 30 were selected as cover papers in international journals. The team's research has laid an important foundation for the development of tumor-based multimodal precision therapy.
The research was supported and funded by the National Special Support Program for High-Level Personnel Recruitment (Youth Talent Support Project), the National Programs for High Technology Research and Development (863 Project) and the National Natural Science Foundation.
