Delegations from the College of Nursing and Public Health of Adelphi University on Long Island, New York, visited the JNU Nursing School from Nov. 1 to 14.
Adelphi Associate Professor Kenneth Cory Rondello and Associate Professor Yiyuan Sun visited the JNU history museum, the library and the Nursing School to understand JNU diverse educational background. Rondello and Sun had colloquiums to communicate with teachers and students at the Nursing School and the First Affiliated Hospital. They also held four academic seminars related to the development of Anursing education and emergency nursing in the United States, which attracted many teachers, students and staff members from all JNU affiliated hospitals.

During the visit, Rondello and Sun visited Guangdong Chinese Medicine Museum and Chen Liji Chinese Medicine Museum to know Chinese traditional medicine and culture. They also had a depth interview with JNU the First Affiliated Hospital and JNU Fuda Cancer Hospital; learn their clinical management features; and experience their multicultural nursing.

JNU has had exchanges with Adelphi in nursing education since 2011. The purpose of Rondello and Sun's visit was to consolidate the foundation of nursing discipline cooperation between JNU and Adelphi; expand opportunities for cooperation in nursing education and talent cultivation; and promote JNU's international level in the nursing discipline.
Teachers and students represnting JNU's Nursing School will have an exchange visit to Adelphi in 2019, promoting sustainable development of the two schools' nursing disciplines and upgrading the international level of nursing education at JNU.
