The launching ceremony of the JNU School of Management's business elite ability improvement program for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese students was held in the academic hall of the library on JNU's Panyu campus on June 2.
JNU Vice President Rao Min spoke, affirming the School of Management's all-around education patterns. Drawing on its century-old history of business education, she said, the school has assigned each participant professional instructors, alumni mentors, growth mentors and peer mentors. Rao also expressed two ardent wishes for the selected students: that they could cherish this opportunity to improve their comprehensive ability, and that they would live up to public expectations and strive to become the elite of Chinese business in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas.
Qu Xiangli, director of the school's Office of Student Affairs, expressed appreciation for the school's business education over the past 20 years. Through this platform, she said, she hoped students in this program will move forward hand in hand with mainland students.
Wei Haiying, secretary of the school's party committee, read out the names of students and supervisors in the business elite program. On behalf of the School of Management, Wei expressed gratitude to the school and its Office of Student Affairs for their support of the program. Rao presented a flag to four student representatives, launching the program.
