An eight-member delegation led by JNU President Song Xianzhong visited four universities in Taiwan from May 24 to 29: National Chi Nan University, National Taiwan University, Donghua University and I-Shou University. It exchanged views with the universities about cooperation on discipline development, talent exchanges and the cultural innovation industry. In addition, the delegation communicated with more than 100 JNU alumni in Taiwan.
The purpose of the visit was to know more about famous Taiwan universities and learn from their internationalized school-running ideas and advanced teaching experience. It also sought to enhance connections between JNU and Taiwan alumni, promoting cross-strait cooperation on education, culture, technology and the arts.

Invited by Wang Qingxiang, president of the JNU Taiwan Alumni Association, Song and the delegation visited Da Xin Art Museum in Tainan, an alumni enterprise.
